Cherry Torte

INGREDIENTS
  • 1-1/3 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix all ingredients (except for the cherry pie filling) to make crumb mixture. Spread half of the mixture in an 8-inch square pan. Pour in cherry pie filling, then top with remaining crumb mixture.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
