Chai Tea Mix

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 t. ground cardamom
  • 1/4 t. allspice
  • 1/4 t. cinnamon
  • 1/4 t. ground cloves
  • 1/4 t. ground black pepper
  • 1 can sweetened-condensed milk (regular or fat free)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place spices in a 2-cup container with a lid. Add a can of sweetened-condensed milk, stir well.
  2. Refrigerate.
  3. To make a cup of Chai:
  4. Brew a cup of strong tea (I like to use Constant Comment)and add the spiced milk to taste (a large heaping Tablespoon or two). Can also add milk and ice to drink cold.
  5. Mixture lasts at least a week in the refrigerator and flavors 7 cups of tea.

This was given to my friend Madi by her mother-in-law. It is awesome and tastes just like Starbucks.
