Candied Baked Turnips Elaine Mazur's Style
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Lg Turnips per person eating
- Butter/ Margarine
- Light brown sugar
- Salt
DIRECTIONS
- Grease w/ butter glass casserole dish (only need big enough for single layer of sliced turnips)
- Wash peel and cut off both ends of Turnips
- Slice thinly and layer in baking dish (put 1st slice dwn than 1/2 way dwn that slice put the next ect)
- Lightly salt
- Sprinkle light brown sugar over all
- Bake at 350 until turnips are soft
