CRISPY FISH FRY

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Cornmeal
  • 1 Cup Crushed Crackers(I used Ritz and Saltine)
  • Garlic powder,onion powder and cayenne to taste
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Paprika for color
DIRECTIONS
  1. Put all the ingredients in a zip lock bag.
  2. Add a few fillets at a time to coat the fish.
  3. Saute the fillets in butter in a heavy pan over medium heat until they are crispy outside and with a tender, flaky interior
RECIPE BACKSTORY
This is great for rainbow trout, herring, pickerel (walleye) or smelts. I guess any fish you would pan fry.
