CHURCH WINDOW CANDY

INGREDIENTS
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 10 1/2 ounces colored mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt chocolate chips in butter.
  2. Cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Add nuts and marshmallows.
  4. Mix.
  5. Sprinkle coconut on wax paper.
  6. Spoon mixture over coconut.
  7. Roll up tightly to form two large 3-inch diameter logs.
  8. Refrigerate until firm.
  9. Cut into slices.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I remember my late mother making these at the Christmas time. I stumbled upon them on another website and didn't realize how incredibly easy they were to make!! They are definitely on my candy making list this year.
