Buckeye Cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2ND LAYER
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cups smooth peanut butter
  • 7 ounces jar marshmallow creme
  • FROSTING
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup hershey's cocoa
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. Grease and flour 15x11" jelly roll pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare cake mix. Bake 20-22 minutes or until done. Cool completely.
  3. 2ND LAYER: in saucepan bring sugar and milok to boil. Boil for 3 minutes then add peanut butter and marshmallow creme. Mix well then quickly pour over cooled cake and spread evenly. Cool completely.
  4. FROSTING: in saucepan melt butter with cocoa and milk together. Bring to boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour icing over peanut butter layer and cool completely before slicing.
