Brussel Sprouts Au Gratin
  • 1 T Butter
  • 2/3 C Heavy Cream
  • 2/3 Milk
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, thinly sliced while raw
  • 2 T grated parmesan cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 350, use butter to coat dish
  2. Blend butter, cream, milk, garlic, salt & pepper.
  3. Layer sprouts with mixture 3-4 layers (may need to make extra sauce)
  4. Top with parmesan cheese
  5. Cover and bake for one hour
In 2006, I couldn't make it home to Atlanta for Christmas. I had friends out in Phoenix that were also away from their family for the holiday, so we decided to have a pot luck dinner. This was one of the best dishes from that meal!
