  • 1- 1 lb dry black eyed peas
  • small onion dice
  • 2 Tb bacon dripping
  • salt & pepper to taste
  1. In a pot of boiling water add peas , onion and bacon drippings cook on low until peas are can add chopped ham or crumbles bacon also.
Easy side dish and add some collard greens dish and you will have a great southern meal and maybe good luck.
