Beer Cheese Fondue
  • 1 loaf of French bread cubed
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 TBSP. butter
  • 1 cup beer
  • 4 cups (16 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 TBSP. All-purpose flour
  • 2 to 4 TBSP. half & half
  1. In a saucepan, saute onions and garlic in butter until tender. Stir in beer.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low.
  3. Toss cheese with flour, stir into saucepan until melted.
  4. Stir in 2 Tablespoons of cream.
  5. Transfer to a fondue pot or slow cooker; keep warm.
  6. Add additional cream if fondue thickens.
  7. Serve with bresd cubes.
  8. YIELD: 3 cups
This recipe really hits the spot when you want lot's of flavor with little effort. Both ladies and gentlemen will rave over this fondue
