Bean Burrito
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 5 minutes

  • 1 cup of beans (i used kidney beans)
  • 1 cup red sauce (homemade or store bought)
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 4 tortillas
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Cheese (optional)
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. In a pan, add the red sauce, salt and black pepper. Saute for a couple of minutes.
  2. 2. Add the beans and mix together. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat up the tortillas.
  4. 4. Assemble your burrito using the bean mixture, veggies and cheese.
  5. 5. Serve Hot!

This recipe is super quick and easy to make. It takes less than 20 minutes and is simply delicious. You can use this bean mixture as a topping for nachos or just with some chips if you don't have tortillas or if you don't really want a burrito. Get creative! Make it you own! You can add veggies of your choice and skip the cheese to make it vegan!
