Barb's Sour Cream Fudge Cake Original

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cup flour (regular or gluten free)
  • 2 -4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • salt
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 TBSP boiling water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine sugar, eggs and sour cream and beat for a minute
  2. Add dry ingredients
  3. Add melted chocholate and boiling water
  4. Beat well
RECIPE BACKSTORY
This was an original recipe from Grandmas cookbook but it wasn't fudgy enough for today's tastes. Adding more melted chocolate and chocolate chips brings it up a notch. A nice light cake with pleasing taste.
