Aunt Judy's Hamburger Casserole
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 can chow mein noodles - divided
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Reserve 1/2 of chow mein noodles.
- Brown ground beef, onion, pepper and salt.
- Drain corn and add to meat; add tomato soup and egg.
- Mix together and pour over 1/2 can of chow mein noodles.
- Place in baking dish.
- Sprinkle with remaining noodles, DO NOT STIR INTO CASSEROLE.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
