Asian Cocktail Meatballs
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes
- Preparation Time: 15 minutes
- For meatballs:1 1/2 lb. ground lean turkey
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- For sauce: 1 c. apricot jam
- 1/2 c. hoisin sauce
- 1/2 c. rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne
- 1 red pepper, diced
DIRECTIONS
- For meatballs: Blend all ingredients with a hand mixer until combined
- Shape into balls just larger than a walnut
- Heat a little oil in a large pan and brown meatballs on all sides and set aside
- In a large saucepan, mix sauce ingredients over medium heat until jam is melted
- Add meatballs and cook 15 minutes
- Serve hot
