Apple Bread

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 Tablespoon sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 cups chopped apples
  • Topping:
  • 4 Tablespoon melted butter
  • 4 Tablespoon flour
  • 4 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs, soda, sour milk and vanilla.
  2. Add dry ingredients. Fold in apples.
  3. Pour into pans, sprinkle on topping.
  4. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes then 300 for 1 hour.
  5. Makes 2 loaves.
