Almond Milk

- Preparation Time: 15 minutes
- 1/2 cup raw almonds
- 6 cups cold water
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 6 packs splenda or 1/4 cup of sweetener of your choice
DIRECTIONS
- Use a nut or coffee grinder to grind the nuts into powder
- Place ground nuts and 2 cups water in blender. Blend on highest setting for a full 5 minutes
- Add rest of water and strain ( I use a metal tea strainer )
- Let milk sit for 2-3 minutes to allow solids to settle and then strain again
- Add vanilla and sweeter
