4-B's Tomato Soup

INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 1 1/2 quarts
  • 1-28oz can of diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 T chopped onion
  • 1/8 t baking soda
  • 2 c heavy cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a saucepan, combine the first six ingredients.
  2. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. ]
  3. Heat cream in double boiler over simmering water.
  4. Add to the tomato mixture just before serving.
