1960's Dried-beef Canapes/cheeseball
INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 1 Tlb butter
  • 2 1/2 oz. or 1 jar Hormel dried beef, finely chopped
  • 1 3 oz. package cream cheese
  • Saltines, or rye bread, or any crusty bread
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook onion in butter till tender, add dried beef and cook till beef is slightly crisp. Add beef mixture to the cream cheese; blend . Serve with crackers or bread , you can make into cheese ball or spread on crackers or bread.
