Why I Love This Recipe
These are tasty and flaky. They are great hot out of the oven and slathered with butter. I almost always make these when I make chicken soup. My three grown kids request them all the time.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 to 3 tbsp. fat
2/3 cup milk
Directions
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in the fat until very fine.
Pour in milk stirring very quickly with a fork until mixed.
Turn out on a lightly floured board: knead lightly, roll to 3/4 inch thick.
Cut with floured biscuit cutter or glass.
Place in a greased or floured pan and bake in a 400 to 425 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
