Super soft super, good sugar cookies!!

Why I Love This Recipe
I LOVE Sugar Cookies. My mother shared this recipe with me. I had like them but they came out a little hard and not so sweet. I didnt really change anything but I added an extra teaspoon of vanilla and made sure the butter was SUPER soft. When they came out they were perfect!!! I have shared this recipe many many time with family and friends. Hope you like them!!
Ingredients You'll Need
1 1/2 cups butter, softened Make sure it almost to the point of being melted.
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
not 1 but 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cover, and chill dough for at least one hour (or overnight).
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Roll out dough on floured surface 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with any cookie cutter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on Reynolds® Parchment Paper then on a cookie sheets.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely.
