Why I Love This Recipe

Winters are just few months away and a cold winter evening calls for a warm delicious and creamy soup. What best can be something that is equally nutritious, low in calories, rich in proteins and fibre. I thought to share this recipe I found on with my readers. You can enjoy this piping hot soup either on a rainy day or just any other time of the day. Filling and healthy, it is rich in proteins. It is fresh and delicious and easy to prepare.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 head cabbage
1/2 cup Boiled and shredded Chicken
2 cups Chicken Stock
2 stalks celery
1 head onion
1 head potato
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 tablespoon oil
to taste - Salt
To Garnish - Bread croutons


1. Finely chop the Onion, potato celery and cabbage

2. Heat oil and sauté the onions till soft

3. Add chili flakes and cook for a minute

4. Add cabbage, chicken, celery and chicken stock

5. Simmer and smother for 10 minutes and add salt to taste

6. Finally add freshly ground pepper powder and serve hot with bread croutons
