"Heart Healthy meal"

Serves 2 people | Prep Time 10 minutes | Cook Time 15 minutes

Why I Love This Recipe

I love this meal because it's light and fit and contains protein and vegetables. It is ideal for those on a diet or seeking a healthier lifestyle.


Ingredients You'll Need

1 bundle of asparagus
2 Tbsp of minced garlic
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 salmon fillet
1 drop of lime juice
1 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1/2 tsp of paprika
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 sliced lemon
1/2 cup of butter


Directions

Cut salmon in half and add seasoning, heat pan with butter add salmon to pan on low heat. Pan sear on both sides for 5 minutes and let simmer with lid for another 5 minutes.


Wash asparagus and cut the ends. Sprinkle salt and garlic powder on it. Heat pan with vegetable oil and minced garlic on low heat. Add aparagus and cook for 10 minutes. Cover with lid and allow to simmer until crisp and tender.


Pairs Well With

A glass of wine!
