Miss Brown's Darn Good Chili

Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb. ground beef (80/20)
1 large yellow onion diced
1 15-oz. can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1 15-oz. can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 15-oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
1 15-oz. diced tomatoes
3 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp Better Than Bullion beef base
3 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt (more to taste)
1 tsp ground pepper (more to taste)
Neutral oil like canola or vegetable
Toppings
Shredded cheese
Pickled jalapenos
Diced green onion
Sour cream
Directions
Heat a dutch oven or large pot with neutral oil
Add diced onion, ground beef, cook and stir for about 3 mins
Add spices, salt, pepper, stir and cook for about 5 or 6 mins or until the beef is no longer pink
Add tomato paste, Better Than Bullion, diced tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce
Stir, now add 1 cup of water and taste, add more salt and pepper if needed
Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to a simmer
Simmer for 20 mins
Serve and top with assorted toppings
