Million Dollar Deviled Eggs

"Eggs Lab"
Serves 12 | Prep Time 10 minutes | Cook Time 17 minutesWhy I Love This Recipe
This Egg lab showed us a fancy way of preparing eggs- with these "million-dollar" deviled eggs. They were relatively easy to prepare although I found the pickle juice to be a bit strong in the filling. We used a piping bag to fill each egg and I struggled a little bit to get the technique right so that they filling would come out evenly and smoothly. Overall, though, this recipe was successful.
Ingredients You'll Need
12 large eggs
1/8 cup mayo (22.5g)
1/2 Tablespoon butter softened to room temperature
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoons sweet gherkin pickle juice
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
dash Tabasco sauce optional
paprika for sprinkling
bacon pieces optional
Directions
Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover with water.
Transfer to stovetop over high heat until water begins to boil.
Boil for one minute, cover with a lid, and remove from heat. Allow to sit for 17 minutes and then drain and transfer to an ice bath.
Peel eggs and set aside.
Slice eggs in half lengthwise.
Remove yolks and transfer to a medium-sized bowl.
Add mayo, butter, mustards, pickle juice salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. Use a fork to mash well.
