Michelle Losey's Fried Apples (or Pears, Cherries or mix)

Why I Love This Recipe
A variation of my Grandmothers baked apples
Ingredients You'll Need
Cortland apples
Granny Smith apples
Water
Salt
Butter melted
White sugar
Directions
Make in batches if you have a large family
For each batch:
Cut apples in bite size chunks
Put in large skillet
Pour about 1 TBS of melted butter over apples
Add about 1/3 cup water to pan
Lightly salt
Lightly sprinkle sugar over apples
Let water boil out and then let them cook in butter 'till soft
Stir and flip over to get all sides done
