"A easy cheesy beef and vegetable stuffed garlic bread"
Serves 3-6 depends how hungry you are lol | Prep Time | Cook TimeWhy I Love This Recipe
A concoction of mine named by my Bake Space friend Tango! Can be made over a campfire just not too close to flames! I think i'm going to try it with strips of cooked bacon on top or on bread next time. :) or instead of bacon maybe sour cream :) or both!
Ingredients You'll Need
2 loaves of frozen garlic bread prepared as to instructions on pkg
3 lbs ground beef
3 yellow cooking onions chopped
3 green or red sweet bell peppers chopped/ or slices
2 pkg or 16 oz sliced mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can of milk (I use unsweetened almond milk or grass fed whole milk)
1 beef bullion cube
1/2 bag or 6-8 oz shredded colby / jack cheese
1/2 bag or 6-8 oz shredded italian mix cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Make Garlic bread and set aside
In pan add hamburger and bout TBS water brown slightly and strain and return to pan
Add chopped veggies and heat for a few mins then add soup bullion and milk and cook till veggies are soft stirring often
After veggies are soft turn off heat and add cheese stir till all melted
Spred meat mix evenly into both garlic breads top w/ mozzarella and return to oven just long enough to melt the mozzarella (If doing it on campfire just cover whole breads w/ tinfoil and place on rack over fire for a few mins)
Cut each bread into 1/3rds to serve
