Why I Love This Recipe
Creamy shredded chicken seasoned and baked under crushed crackers. This Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole will become a family favorite and a go-to one recipe for those nights you just need to pop something hot and yummy in the oven. This recipe freezes particularly well. Wrap in an air-tight container and freeze until ready to bake and serve. (350 degrees for 30-40 min.)
Ingredients You'll Need
16 Oz. Sour Cream
2 Cans Cream of Chicken
4 Large Chicken Breasts
2 Sleeves of Garlic Ritz Crackers
3 Tbsp. of Milk
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place chicken breast in a pot of boiling water and cook until done. Drain chicken breasts and let cool before shedding chicken.
In an 8x10 casserole dish, add the chicken.
In a bowl, mix together sour cream, cream of chicken, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour mixture over the chicken.
Place Ritz crackers in a large freezer bag and crush. Sprinkle the Ritz over the top of the whole casserole and bake for 30 min., Enjoy!
