Mashed Potato Dogs
Why I Love This Recipe
I had a very good Bacon Western Hot Dog at the Dog House, Wednsday.
Then in thinking about how much I like mashed potatoes and needed to do soemthing, with some in the refrigerator, I thought, why not put them in a hotdog bun?. Well, i couldn't find a recipe for them on line, so I created one.
They're not at all rich nor disgusting.
Ingredients You'll Need
4 hot dog buns
4 frankfurters or weiners
2/3 cup Lime Marinade
cheese slices
spinach leaves
Directions
Marinate the hot dogs for 30 minutes, in the refrigerator, and heat the oven
to 355 f.
Bake the hot dogs for 28 minutes; while they are sitting on the pan,
open the buns and place in them the cheese, some mashed potatoes
and some spinach leaves. .
Place hot dog on top of the potatoes in the buns, and fold closed.
tip: They're good right of of the refig, too!
