Lemon and lavender flower cake

This cake is healthier because it is made with whole wheat.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 tablespoon edible dried lavender flower
1 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mild flavored olive oil
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
Preheat the oven 350 F. Grease an 8 inches pan and line with parchment paper.
Place granulated sugar and lavender in a blender and mix until lavender dried flower is broken down.
In bowl put the flour, salt, banking powder, baking soda and lemon zest. Stir and add lavender sugar.
Slowly add eggs, buttermilk oil, and lemon juice. do not over mix.
Place the batter on the greased pan and bake for 35 minutes or until the skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
