LauriAnne's Crunchy Sunflower Slaw
Why I Love This Recipe
An awesome slaw recipe which tastes amazing!!
Ingredients You'll Need
1/3 c butter
2 pkgs ramen noodles
2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
1 sm pkg slivered almond
1/2 c sunflower seeds
2 1lb pkgs of shredded cabbage w/ carrots
Green onion stalk
3/4 c oils mixed (vegetable & olive)
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
In a medium skillet, melt butter then add uncooked broken ramen noodles , sesame seeds, almonds and sunflower seeds. Cook all until light brown in color.
Mix cabbage and 1/4” chopped green onion in a large bowl.
Combine the oil, sugar, vinegar & soy sauce. Toss all to coat then add the noodle mixture just before serving.
Pairs Well With
This slow can be served with fish, chicken or steak.
