Ingredients You'll Need
Oil of your choice for frying
4 bone in pork chops
2 cans pineapple chunks (undrained)
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1/2 c fat free, low sodium chicken broth
1/4 c Catalina salad dressing
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 c instant rice
In a large frying pan or Dutch oven, fry the chops in the hot oil, 5 minutes on each side.
Chop the peppers and add them plus the pineapples, broth, salad dressing & garlic powder, mixing well til the mixture boils.
Add the rice and cover. Turn down the heat to simmer while the rice is cooking. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
