Kentucky Derby Pie

Why I Love This Recipe
Pecan pie is good, but this version is even better!

Ingredients You'll Need
1 single pie crust 9"
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 Slightly beaten eggs
3/4 cup liquid sweetener (agave nectar, honey, or light corn syrup work well)
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. softened butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup bourbon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Pecan halves
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
Press chocolate chips into bottom of pie crust
Wisk together the second set of ingredients. Mixture will be slightly frothy with bits of butter.
Stir in chopped pecans and bourbon and pour into crust.
Arrange pecan halves on top.
Bake for 1 hour.
