This is a pretty unique recipe with indian spices rich in vitamins and nutrients. This can be made quickly and is a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 large Ripe Guava finely cut
3 Tbsp sugar
1/2 Tsp Chilly flakes
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 Bay Leaf
2 TBsp lemon juice
1/2 - 1 cup water
In a Heated non stick skillet, add the sugar, water, whole spices and the guava pieces - bring to a boil.
Stir continuously on medium heat and cook till the guava pieces are tender and the liquid reaches a sticky consistency. Garnish with finely ground and freshly roasted cinnamon powder and lemon juice.
