Grandma's Apple Butter

Why I Love This Recipe
This is the best recipe for Apple Butter that I have ever made. My Grandma taught me how to make this years ago. I remember her telling me that the Crockpot was the greatest invention ever and how she wished she could have had one all those years ago (before air conditioning). :) I am posting so that I will never lose it! I am not exactly sure on the exact yield - it's been a while since I've made this.
Ingredients You'll Need
10 cups apples (peeled, cored & chunked)
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2-3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions
Place apples in crock pot; cook on high for 4-1/2 hours (covered).
After 4-1/2 hours stir and add remaining ingredients. Cook for another 4-1/2 hours with NO lid.
Stir and seal in jars.
Can seal in hot water bath or top with paraffin.
