Why I Love This Recipe
I keep a batch of this in my refrigerator at all times. It's perfect for garlic bread, veggies, meat . . . everything! The best part? 50 calories a tablespoon, the perfect amount for two servings of whatever you decide to put it in!

Ingredients You'll Need
1 clove roasted garlic
Olive oil spray
4 leaves fresh basil, coarsely chopped
2 T. light butter
1 T. olive oil
1/4 c. fresh grated cheese (Romano or Parmesan is best)
Sea salt to taste
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Crushed red pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a sheet of foil with olive oil spray, place the whole clove of garlic (with just the tip cut off to expose the cloves) in the olive oil and then spray the top of the head with additional olive oil, wrap and roast for approximately one hour.
Let the garlic cool slightly then squeeze each clove out of its skin into a bowl (garlic should be very soft and easily spread at this point).
Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly to form a paste.
