Why I Love This Recipe

I did not come up with these. They are from the rescue group I deal with.

These recipe's are for dogs that need to gain weight. Don't give as a regular treat otherwise you will end up with a chubby puppy

Ingredients You'll Need

1 lb hamburger,
1 package cream cheese,
1 dozen egg yolks,
1 jar all natural peanut butter,
about 1 cup rolled oats soaked in milk,
1 jar wheat germ

For a lighter version try: •1 lb ground turkey, •1 package neuschaefel (light)cream cheese, •1 dozen egg whites, •1 cup peanut powder, • 1/2 cup honey •About 1 cup rolled oats soaked in 1% milk, •1 cup fine semolina

oops, forgot to add a lactose free milk too, but NOT soya

These sound wonderful, however I must point out 2 warnings on this. 1) most dogs are lactose intolerant so if you want to use the cheese you must use either lactose free cheese, sheep or goat cheese. 2) nuts of any description can harm a dog, but there is 1 nut which is OK, it might be peanut but only in small quantities.Brazils are the worst, they can be highly toxic to dogs
