Everlasting Slaw

Why I Love This Recipe
This recipe was given to me by my Father, I don't know where he got it.
It's very good if you like your slaw a little tangy.
Ingredients You'll Need
3lbs. cabbage
1 pod of sweet pepper
1 med. size onion
3 tablespoons salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
Directions
Chop; Cabbage, pepper, onion.
Mix with 3 tablespoons salt.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Squeeze out water.
Mix with sugar and vinegar.
Put in a covered dish- Let stand 24 hours.
