Elaine Mazur's Christmas Fudge

Why I Love This Recipe
My Grandmother's Christmas fudge recipe. Of course you can eat it any day but she always made sure to make a batch for Christmas.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 tall can carnation milk
4 1/2 Cups white sugar
1/2 LB soft butter
1 TBS vanilla
dash of salt
1 pint marshmallow cream
3 pkgs 18 oz chocolate chips (I like to add at least 1 pkg dark choco chips. Try other chips too like peanut butter, butterscotch ect )
2 cups finely chopped nuts
Directions
Bring milk and sugar to a boil then boil for 10 mins
Remove from heat
Then add remaining ingredients starting w/ Marshmallow cream
Stir well after each ingredient
Pour into greased pan
As it starts to thicken cut into small squares
