Elaine Mazur's Apple Butter & Pear Cake (Pear upside Down Cake)

My Grandmothers version of Pear upside down cake
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 29 oz can pear 1/2's
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1/2 Cup apple butter
3 eggs
Directions
heat oven 350F and grease and flour 13x9 pan
In saucepan melt butter
Stir in Br Sugar
Stir 'till sugar is dissolved
Spread into prepared pan
Slice pears and evenly space on top of br sugar layer
In large bowl blend cake mix, cinnamon, water, apple butter, oil and eggs
Place mixer on high and beat for 2 mins
Pour over topping layer
Bake at 350F Until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean
immediately invert pan onto large serving plate or bigger cookie sheet
Leave there for a while tapping pan to release cake when fully released remove the pan
