Homemade chili which is easy to make and is delicious!!


Ingredients You'll Need

3 POUNDS OF 80/20 GROUND BEEF
1 MEDIUM ONION, FINELY CHOPPED
½ TABLESPOON GARLIC POWDER
3 CANS OF TOMATO SAUCE – 8 OZ. EACH
2 TEASPOONS OF SALT
1 TEASPOON CAYENNE PEPPER
1 TEASPOON TABASCO
1 TABLESPOON OREGANO
I TABLESPOON CUMIN
1 TABLESPOON MAJORAM
6 RED CHILIS – SEEDED AND FINELY CHOPPED (OPTIONAL)
¼ CUP CHILI POWDER (MORE TO TASTE)
1 TABLESPOON PAPRIKA

(Amount of water that goes in is listed below in the directions.)


Directions

SAUTE BEEF AND ONION UNTIL MEAT IS BROWN. ADD TOMATO SAUCE AND 1 CUP OF WATER. STIR AND MIX WELL. ADD SALT AND OTHER INGREDIENTS. ADD 1/4 CUP OF WATER AND STIR AND MIX ALL INGREDIENTS WELL. SIMMER TWO-THREE HOURS UNCOVERED ON LOW HEAT, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY UNTIL DESIRED THICKNESS.

**ADD 1 CAN OF DARK RED KIDNEY BEANS IF DESIRED.
**LET SIT FOR 15 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
**SERVE WITH RICE OR CRACKERS.
