Christmas Braided Cinnamon Bread

Why I Love This Recipe
When I was a little girl, this was a Harseim Christmas morning tradition made with frozen bread dough. Always fun to help GMa braid the bread dough strips.
Ingredients You'll Need
For each loaf frozen bread dough you will need:
2 T margarine, softened
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
4 to 5 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Thaw the bread dough completely. Roll into 12" square. Cut into 3 strips. Spread margarine down the center of each strip. Combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the strips. Top with nuts. Bring the sides of each strip over filling to seal edges and form 3 ropes. Place all 3 on a greased baking sheet and loosely braid together. You can make into a candy cane or wreath. Let rise until double (about 30 minutes).
Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes. Cover with foil if browning too fast. Once removed from the oven, drizzle the icing over the warmed bread.
