Chicken fajita skewers

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken,sliced into strips
1 green pepper, quartered
1 red pepper, quartered
2 onions, thickly sliced
3 T. lime juice
1/3 c. reduced-fat Italian salad dressing
salt to taste
flour tortillas, warmed
Garnish; salsa
Directions
Thread chicken strips evenly onto 4 wooden skewers; thread peppers and onions alternately onto anothers 4 skewers. Combine lime juice and salad dressing in a small bowl; brush chicken and vegetables with mixture. Grill skewers over hot coals, turning occasionally, allowing 7 to 9 minutes for chicken and 12 to 15 minutes for vegetables. Add salt to taste. Serve with tortillas and salsa, as desired. Makes 4 servings.
Can also substitute chicken with shrimp or beef!
