Why I Love This Recipe

I love French toast- but do not eat eggs and still wanted to feel good after eating it. (Of course I had to have my chai tea somewhere in there too) If you wanted to add some extra protein, you can always add 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder to the chai mixture as well.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 slices of bread
1-4 cup oat milk
1/4 cup chai tea concentrate
1/4 cup Aquafaba
1 tsp vanilla
Almond butter
Pure maple syrup
Vegan butter
Sea salt


Whisk together oat milk, chai tea concentrate, aquafaba, cinnamon, pinch of sea salt and vanilla

Heat up skillet on low-medium heat

Dip the bread in the chai mixture on both sides - I let each side soak for at least 30 seconds -and place on the skillet

1-2 minutes each side depending on which bread you use

Top with raspberries, cinnamon, and pure maple syrup. Drizzle with almond butter

If there is leftover chai mixture, put it in the fridge for later. Good for 2-3 days
