Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 taza de Queso Cottage
1/4 de taza de Crema Ácida
1/4 de taza de queso gruyere rallado
1/2 taza de queso manchego rallado Nuez moscada al gusto
2 cucharaditas de mantequilla
20 uvas
6 cucharaditas de nuez pecana picada
Sal y pimienta al gusto


1. Ralle por separado los quesos gruyere y manchego.

2. Licue la Crema Ácida junto con el queso gruyere rallado. Agregue el queso manchego rallado y vuelva a licuar. Por último, ponga el Queso Cottage y mezcle rápidamente todos los ingredientes.

3. En una olla, ponga a derretir la mantequilla a fuego suave sin dejar que se queme. Añada la mezcla de quesos.

This is an excellent Spanish Catalan recipe. Here is my translation into English. Enjoy with a good crusty bread and a bottle of Rioja! # 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese # 1/4 cup of Acidic Crema (Mexican Crema works well, or Sour Cream) # 1/4 cup of gruyere cheese, grated # 1/2 cup of La Mancha cheese, grated # Nutmeg to taste # 2 teaspoons of butter # 20 grapes, (halved) # 6 teaspoons of pecan Picada Sauce (search internet for recipes) # Salt and pepper to taste 1. Grate separately the gruyere and La Mancha cheeses. 2. Mix the Gruyere with the Crema. Add the grated La Mancha cheese and mix well. Finally, add the Cottage Cheese, grapes, picada sauce, salt, pepper and mix all the ingredients quickly. 3. In a pot (saucepan), melt butter over low heat without burning. Add to the cheese mixture and incorporate well.
