Why I Love This Recipe

I like potatoes and sausage so this is a good recipe.


Ingredients You'll Need

Sauerkraut 0.6 kg
Bacon, medium dice 120 g
Onions, medium dice 180 g
garlic chopped fine 22.5 g
Granny Smith apples, medium dice 120 g
Dry white wine 60 mL
White wine vinegar 60 mL
Chicken stock 240 mL
Sachet
Juniper Berries 3
Bay Leaves 2
Cloves 1
Caraway seeds 2.5 mL
Boneless pork butt 2 lbs
Smoked pork loin 480 g
Red potatoes 0.7 kg
Salt and pepper TT


Directions

Render the bacon


Sauté the onions, garlic and apples in the bacon fat without browning.


Rinse the sauerkraut, drain it, then add to the pan.


Stir in the vine, vinegar, stock, and sachet.


Place the pork butt on the sauerkraut. cook in the instant pot at 325ºF for 30 minutes.


Add the smoked parked loin, bratwurst, and potatoes into the pot and cook for an additional 16 minutes.


Serve with salt and pepper.
