CHINESE CASSEROLE

Why I Love This Recipe
The only reason this is called Chinese is because it has some Chinese food ingredients. However, it is a tasty casserole.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 1/2 cups chow mein noodles
1 can Chinese vegetables
1 can tomato soup
1 can mushroom soup
1 soup can of water
1 can sliced water chestnuts
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 cup sliced mushrooms, fresh or canned
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup diced onion
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 cup cashew nuts, broken
Directions
Brown ground beef and separate into bite-sized pieces.
Add onions and celery, simmer until tender.
Combine ground beef, onions and celery with remaining ingredients and bake in well greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 8 to 10.
This dish may be garnished with additional Chinese noodles and fresh parsley.
