Auntie Sylvia's Blueberry cake

Why I Love This Recipe
Another one of Auntie Sylvia's recipes that is a family favorite - she always used fresh, but I have found that I can get away with using frozen ones as well
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 c butter
3/4 c sugar
3 eggs
2 c flour
1/2 t salt
1 t baking powder
1t baking soda
1 c sour cream
2 c fresh or frozen (defrosted) blueberries
1 t vanilla
1/4 c brown sugar
Directions
mix together butter, sugar, and eggs
Sift all dry ingredients and add alternately in batches with sour cream
Stir in 1 cup berries and vanilla
pour 1/2 of the batter into a 9x12 baking dish
cover with remaining 1 cup berries and sprinkle with brown sugar
Spread the rest of the batter on top
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes
