Why I Love This Recipe

This is a fun snack that kids can make. It consists of artfully arranged celery, peanut butter, and raisins.

Celery has health benefits that include is a good supply of vitamins and minerals, supply of antioxidants, strengthens the immune system, remedy for digestive problems, offers nervous protection and provides remedy for respiratory conditions.

Ingredients You'll Need

5 stalks celery
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup raisins


1. Cut the celery stalks in half.

2.Spread with peanut butter.

3.Sprinkle with raisins.

Variations and suggestions:

For children with peanut allergies strawberry cream cheese, or hummus can be used to replace the peanut butter.

Hummus is high in iron and vitamin C and also has significant amounts of folate and vitamin B6. The chickpeas make it a good source of protein and dietary fiber; the tahini consists mostly of sesame seeds, which are an excellent source of amino acids, complementing the proteins in the chickpeas.
