Grilled Honey Lemon ChickenOur family loves any grilled meat, chicken is no exception. The flavors of honey and lemon with the chicken is really good. .
PastitsioI have enjoyed the close friendship of a lady whose family immigrated from Greece. My late husband and I became acquainted with Greek cuisine at their home and she generously shared many of her recipes. I hope you enjoy this one.
Greek SaladGreek salad is wonderful served with Greek food, but is delicious served as a light meal by itself.
Italian Creme Cake/Coconut CakeThis recipe (before it became GF) won a blue ribbon at a County Fair in Fairfiled Ohio 1978. Don't tell, and no one will guess it's Gluten Free!
Irish StewDuring a visit to Guiness Storehouse's Gravity bar in Dublin, I decided I don't like the taste of ale to drink, so I decided to have lunch in their restaurant where I chose Irish Stew for lunch. It was delicious and I decided I do like the taste of ale in my stew. Guiness Storehouse graciously gave me the recipe.
Irish Whiskey & Maple Glazed Roast ChickenRoasted chicken is a family favorite, Irish whiskey just makes it better!
Irish Apple Cake served with Vanilla CustardThis is a little different twist on my usual cinnamon spiced apple cakes. Very good.
Roasted Cabbage WedgesI grew up hating cabbage because my parents always boiled it. During my years in Cinncinnati I had a large vegetable garden. One year the broccoli I planted, turned out to be cabbage. What to do? Find cabbage recipes. I found sautéed cabbage, and the family loved it. I don't know what took me so long to try roasting it. It is crispy on the edges and meltingly delicious in the middle.
Asian Pork TenderloinThis is a recipe that I can easily adapt to my grandson, David's allergy to soy. I omit the soy and replace it with orange juice for his portion of the dish. Our family really enjoys this recipe cooked in an iron skillet in cold months and served with rice. In warm months, we grill the meat and serve it in lettuce wrappers. Enjoy!
Peach Cobbler CakeSometimes unexpected guests arrive and I want to serve dessert and coffee. These ingredients are always on hand, so this is a very tasty dessert than comes out of oven in under an hour.
Chicken SaladDuring warm weather months we really enjoy chicken salad on GF slider buns. My daughter, Michelle, loves grapes in her chicken salad, so we always make a version with grapes. But you can substitute pineapple, apples, or dried cranberries if preferred.
Sauteed Chicken with Lemon and Pepper SauceAn easy, delicious weeknight chicken dish to keep the family happy.
Chocolate Banana Pudding ParfaitChocolate ganache takes an old favorite, banana pudding, up a notch.
Vanilla Wafer CookiesThese vanilla wafers are great to keep on hand to use in making banana pudding, they also are great to use for making a cookie pie crust.
GF Enchilada SauceThis recipe for enchilada sauce is so simple, and so tasty. You will never buy the canned stuff again!
Pizza SauceIt is difficult to get GF pizza at a restaurant that has a dedicated GF pizza oven and well trained staff to avoid cross contamination. So we make our own. I like to cook them on my grill because the grill can get extremely hot which is the secret of crispy thin crust pizza.
Pizza with Crispy Thin CrustOur family loves pizza and it is very difficult to get GF pizza at a restaurant that has a dedicated GF pizza oven and staff trained to avoid cross contamination. We find it safer to make our own pizza. The pizza also freezes well, so I often make extras for a night when I don't want to go to the trouble of making it from scratch.
Rice Pilaf with VeggiesWe enjoy variety in our menus, so this rice pilaf that we can vary with different types of rice, different veggies, and different herbs really fills the bill.
Slider BunsThese make wonderful dinner rolls and slider buns for sandwiches. We especially enjoy them with chicken, egg, ham, or tuna salads.
Chocolate Mint BrowniesWe love these rich, fudgy brownies and enjoy flavoring them in a variety of ways. They are loved by everyone.

Since my grandson, David was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and numerous other food allergies when he was a toddler 14 years ago, I have been reworking recipes and creating recipes for him and my friends in the National Celiac Association of TN. This cookbook is for them.
This cookbook is for my grandson, David, who was diagnosed with Celiac disease at 20 months of age. Someday he will be an adult with a family of his own, I want him to have the healthy, gluten free recipes created by his grandma for him to enjoy with his family. We also want to share them with you.
When my grandson, David, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at a very young age I immediately started cooking gluten free. Before long I started converting our family favorite recipes to gluten free versions and I began to realize that he would need to have these recipes, so I started writing a cookbook. When I started "Grandmas Gluten Free Goodies" my customers also began asking for the recipes. GOING GLUTEN FREE AND LOVING IT Cookbook series was born. I hope you enjoy this month's recipes.
