Fried Eggplant SaladMore Moroccan yumminess to share with your new friends. Always a crowd pleaser, spicy, lemony and savory, we've enjoyed it before as a mezze before a meal, a tasty addition to a salad or sandwich and with tehina, of course. -Ceci
Roasted Cauliflower and Tehina SaladReally, you can make this recipe with almost any vegetable (zucchini, eggplant, broccoli etc.) similarly, but we know the fond place in your heart for cauliflower. Also, you can sub out tehina for labane in any iteration of this and it is also delish. Just imagine you're on your way home from yoga, and stopped to say hi and refuel with a filling and vegetarian classic! -Ceci

Ohad’s “Dish of the Year” French Onion SoupOf all of the things we cooked in all that time in Boston, this soup won “Dish of the Year” for good reason. Maybe because it took Ohad ALL DAY to prepare it, or maybe because we finished it in 10 minutes it was so tasty, either way it was imperative this recipe makes it with you to NYC.
Split Pea SoupOne of many soups that kept us warm on disgustingly freezing nights in Somerville. This recipe is the vegetarian version, but you can always sear off some dark chicken pieces in the beginning and continue with the rest of the recipe to make it even more hearty.
Sweet and Sour CabbageThis needs no introduction, as that weird looking but freakily tasty way to prepare cabbage. The deconstructed, vegetarian adaptation of traditional Ashkenazi stuffed cabbage is Mizrahi-ed with the addition of spicy paprika and by serving it cold or room temperature as a salad. This dish will always conjure up the image of the two of us standing and eating it straight out of the container. -Ceci
Moroccan FishThis is my adaptation of Safta’s star dish of every Shabbat dinner. We ate this a few times when we missed Israeli homecooking in Boston, and I hope you can share it with new friends and your family, as a starter or even as the main dish! Maybe your mom can even replace her grilled salmon with it once or twice☺
Chicken and PotatoesOld faithful recipe for the tastiest roasted potatoes around (can’t get better than chicken fat as a flavor.) This recipe is so fast and easy to make that it got us through many a lonely meal in Somerville, but it also a perfect recipe for Shabbat dinner. (photo not really relevant, but awesome nonetheless:)
Moussaka with Tehina"This is a great dish for entertaining because it is beautiful, tasty and exotic, and by whipping up a quick salad and rice, makes for a very filling complete meal. You can of course make a béchamel sauce instead of the tehina, but once-Kosher Ceci tried tehina as a substitute back in the day and can’t do it any other way since (non-Kosherness withstanding.) Also, this is a flagship recipe part of my (our?) plan for tehina/sesamaise to take over the culinary world." -Ceci
Roasted Turkey Breast (and other iterations)This is my go-to for having a lean protein in the fridge for the week that you can turn into a million other things. The turkey by itself is delicious and can be eaten on its own, sliced and added to a salad or sandwich, sautéed with veggies to make a tasty mix to serve over rice or made into turkey salad (shred it up and mix with red onion, apple, herbs, and tehina.) The options are endless!
Chocolate Cake with Fudgy ToppingThis is the perfect chocolate cake recipe. It is my go-to any time I have to bring dessert to a friend's house. Everyone always loves it. It is moist and rich but the most important part is not to open the oven in the middle of baking - otherwise the cake falls.... Enjoy! -Anat
Ridiculous and healthy ginger-peanut kale with tofu and quinoaSo my willingness to give peanut butter a chance (as an adult) was totally inspired by you. Literally until you started sneaking peanut butter on slices of apple in the Reut kitchen I didn't think it was legitimate to eat peanut butter after the age of 10...so thank you! Anyway this is the yummmmmy salad i made that night at shabbat dinner. ear your heart out!

Pad ThaiThis Thai classic is actually pretty easy once you start keeping some of the Thai condiments and essentials around. You also can really never go wrong with Pad Thai, making it a consistent crowd pleaser.
