Snowballs

INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 C butter
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 C sifted all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 C finely chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream butter, add sugar and cream well.
  2. Stir in egg and vanilla.
  3. Beat until fluffy.
  4. Sift together flour and salt.
  5. Cut into butter with pastry blender.
  6. Stir in nuts.
  7. Shape into balls and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  8. Cool and shake in bag of powdered sugar.
